The invention relates to the bearing of a running wheel 4, in particular for agricultural or horticultural machinery, e.g. a lawnmower 1. The housing 2 of the said machinery can be moved on the floor by means of a plurality of running wheels 4. The bearing of the running wheels 4 comprises in each case two angular contact ball bearings 7 whose outer rings 16 are assigned to the bearing sleeve 6 of the running wheel 4 and whose inner rings 17 are clamped to one another on a bearing pin 8 assigned to the housing 2, balls which roll in raceways being arranged between the outer rings 16 and the inner rings 17. In order to improve the service life of such a bearing, there is provision for the outer ring 16 and the inner ring 17 of the two angular contact ball bearings 7 to be produced from plastic and for the balls in the raceways to be arranged directly adjoining one another so that they form a complete circle.
