<p>PURPOSE:To move, vary, and display displayed image data on animal, etc., with a gesture-like operation feeling without mechanical key input operation as to an image display device which displays image data that are previously stored in an electronic pocketbook, etc. CONSTITUTION:A 'dog' or 'cat' character is selected as the displayed image data by operating the 'dog/cat' key 12d of a key input part 12, the hand of a user is placed in interrupting operation in front of the transmission part 14 and reception part 15 of a device main body without contact to make the reception part 15 photodetect the reflected light of the infrared light from the transmission part 14, and a pattern display pattern of a dog or cat in a pattern display pattern ROM 13c is set according to the input pattern of the infrared reflected light corresponding to the noncontact operation of the user. Consequently, plural kinds of character data which are previously stored in a dog pattern ROM 13a or cat pattern ROM 13b and vary in motion are read out to a CPU 11 according to the set pattern display patterns and displayed at a liquid crystal display part 18.</p> |
