<p>PURPOSE:To use a general-purpose format without the need for setting and managing a radio address of a radio equipment by converting a read 1st address into a 2nd address and adding the converted 2nd address to a received data packet so as to generate a new packet. CONSTITUTION:On the occurrence of a data transmission request, a data terminal equipment 1 sends data to a radio adaptor section 2. The radio adaptor section 2 extracts a 6-octet MAC layer transmission address from a received packet of Ethernet format. A low-order octet in the extracted address is used for the radio address of a transmission destination. For example, an address F2 is used. Then a control packet is transmitted, a transmission destination radio address and a flag in one octet are added to the control packet in addition to a packet type, a designated channel number and MAC layer addresses of a transmission source and a transmission destination. The radio adaptor 2 receiving the control packet in the receiver side changes the destination radio address into F1 and returns the address.</p> |
