<p>PURPOSE:To directly transfer picture data of low resolution at high speed while it is data-converted so that it is adjusted to the high resolution of a recording means. CONSTITUTION:At a mode for recording picture data of 600dpi in the recording means of 600dpi, picture data for one line are read from a picture dot data memory 53a and data of respective bits are written into a FIFO memory 66 as they are through a data bus switch circuit 64 whenever a read command output counter 67 receives a horizontal synchronizing signal BD as the recording means scans one line. At a mode for recording picture data of 300dpi, two bits are made adjacent and are arranged in the respective bits of picture data and are written into the FIFO memory 66 through the data bus switch circuit 64. Data of the FIFO memory 66 is serially outputted to the recording means.</p> |
