PURPOSE:To activate an application corresponding to another OS from a certain OS while protecting system resources corresponding to the plural OSes by controlling access to the system resources of operating systems based on information stored in a storage means. CONSTITUTION:A resource protective part 8 is constituted of a CPU and a co-processor. The resource protective part 8 designates an access right for every OS to the system resources such as storage devices such as a memory and a hard disk, output devices such as a display and a printer and processors such as the CPU, the co-processor and an extension boards, etc., and controls the access of the OSes to the system resources based on the specification. Thus, the existing plural OSes are executed and simultaneously, the system resources to be protected corresponding to a certain OS are protected from the access of the other OSes. And, the OS is prevented from being illegally altered from the other OS. |
