LIGHTING SYSTEM FOR ZIGZAG SHIFT LEVER

PURPOSE:To facilitate the coming-around of light to the side face on the front passenger seat side of an operation groove. CONSTITUTION:An indicator plate 14 is of two-layer structure of a letter disc 22 and a light guidance disc 24. A position indicator 18 is illumined by light from a bulb 28 passing through the letter disc 22 and the light guidance disc 24. The side on the driver seat side of an operation groove 16 is illuminated by light passing through the light guidance disc 24. The light passes through the light guidance part 40 and reflected by a reflection surface 32 and diffused by a diffusion surface 44 and diffused over the inner whole area of the light guidance disc 24. Thus, the light from the bulb 28 illuminates the side face on the front passenger seat side of the operation groove 16.
