Cup made from a rectangular sheet folded to form a convex base consisting of two isosceles triangles with a common base (9). The ends (10 and 11) of the common base extend into two areas in the shape of deformable lozenges for folding and unfolding the cup while leaving the base (9) flat. When the cup is unfolded by pressing on the edges (2) to draw them together, the ends (10 and 11) abut on the edges (2) of the dihedrals (21) forming the cup sides, thereby locking the cup into an open position.
