The hook has a mobile plate (1) which presses against the lower curved part of the hook when a weight is suspended from it, thus preventing a fixing ring or cord (3) from slipping out of the hook. The plate is sufficiently long to be held in place. One, two or three fixing pins are used to fix the hook, depending on its size. The plate is inserted when the head of the hook is folded down, and released by pressing it inwards with a screw driver.
