PURPOSE:To continuously execute an abnormality processing action when the power source of a camera is turned on again in the case that the power source is interrupted in the midst of the abnormality processing action by constituting a storage means of an electrically rewritable non-volatile storage element holding a storing state even when the power source is interrupted. CONSTITUTION:This camera is provided with a photointerruptor PIs54 generating a pulse in accordance with the driving of a focusing lens, a CPU 10 judging that abnormality occurs when the pulse is not generated in a prescribed time, an E<2>-PROM 24 storing an abnormal state and a means executing the abnormality processing action when the abnormal state is stored. Then, the E<2>-PROM 24 is the non-volatile memory storing the number of frames, the condition data of the camera, abnormal data(the place of failure) and adjustment data. Therefore, since the abnormal state of the driving of the lens can be stored even when the power source is interrupted, the abnormality processing action is continuously executed in the case that the power source is interrupted in the midst of the abnormality processing action. |
