Device for raising and holding a load in a high stationary position characterized in that it consists of a primary frame (1), carrying a primary or vertical rotatably driven screw (2) and receiving a primary or captive nut (3) vertically and movably driven according to the rotation of the motorized screw. Said nut is integral with a secondary frame (5) carrying a secondary screw (6), whic, in turn, receives a secondary captive nut (7) vertically movable according to the rotation of the secondary screw, both screws being kinetically connected to a common motor drive system. The secondary nut carries the load to be raised, so that the synchronous rotation of both screws causes the load to be raised and held firmly in a high stationary position.
