PURPOSE:To surely prevent relative rotation, thereby prevent sealing performance from being degraded, and concurrently enhance reliability for a connecting condition in the pull-out direction and the direction perpendicularly intersected with a cylinder axis. CONSTITUTION:The quick connector is made up of a cylindrical male joint 1 composed of a connecting section 10 to one hose end section, and a small diameter cylindrical body 11, and of a cylindrical female joint 2 composed of connecting section 20 to the other hose end section, and a large diameter cylindrical body 21, and the quick connector is sealed by a seal ring which is interposed between the outer circumferential surface 11a of the small diameter cylindrical body at its tip end section 11c and the inner circumferential surface 21a of the large diameter cylindrical body. A ring shaped brim section 12 is formed at the base end section of the small diameter cylindrical body, where the brim section is internally fitted in the tip end open section 21b of the large diameter cylindrical body to prevent relative movement in the radial direction, and the arm sections 15 and 15 of paired stopper sections 13 and 13 are extended from the brim section in the cylinder axial direction X, and locking pawls 16 and 16 are provided for their end sections. Window sections 22 and 22 are formed through the large diameter cylindrical body, where the window sections are formed through the large diameter cylindrical body, where the window sections are engaged with each locking pawl to prevent relative movement in the cylinder axial direction X. Each locking pawl is made identical in a circumferential width to each window section to prevent relative rotation. Guiding projected sections 14 and guiding recessed sections 23 are provided, which guide the locking pawls to the window sections. |
