PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device capable of surely detecting the presence of the winding of a transfer paper even if a reflection type sensor is used. CONSTITUTION:A sensor moving motor is actuated so that a winding detecting sensor is moved to positions where a fixing roller comes and does not come into contact with the transfer sensor and the reflected light quantity of the fixing roller is read in each position and stored in a RAM as data 1 and data 2 (step S5001-step S5005). Then, the data 1 and data 2 stored in the RAM are compared to judge that the difference between the data 1 and data 2 is a prescribed value or more or not and when the difference is the prescribed value or more, the fact that the transfer paper is wound on the fixing roller is warned and displayed on an LCD on an operating part and simultaneously, prescribed processing for abnormality is attained (step S5006-step S5008). |
