PURPOSE:To effectively continue the operation of a medium processor or a medium supply device by detecting the failures of these processor and device and evading the detected failures by a failure evading means. CONSTITUTION:A failure sensor checks whether each of automatic teller machines ATM 11-14 or an operation robot 15 have failures or not. When a failure is detected, a CPU outputs a failure evading signal to immediately evade the failure. That is, the failure evading signal is output when an ATM has a transfer failure, e.g. a jam fault, etc., so that the operation of the relevant ATM is automatically stopped. If the robot 15 is stopped at a position after the ATM or the robot 15 is connected to the ATM in a supply-collection corresponding state, the operation of the relevant ATM is immediately stopped. For instance, the position corresponding to the 2nd ATM 12 having the failure is moved to the position corresponding to the 3rd ATM 13, etc., having no failure. And the supply/correction operation of the robot 15 is automatically stopped when the robot 15 has a failure. |
