<p>PURPOSE:To reduce dead time to be generated between packets. CONSTITUTION:When plural packets are stored in a transmission buffer 22, a main processing part 1 designates the prescribed number of packets and transmits a transmitting instruction to a command register 20 and synchronously with this transmission, the time a little shorter than the required transmission time for those packets is designated to a managing timer 4. The command register 20 decodes the transmitting instruction and transmits the designated packets. Since the managing timer 4 turns to time-up and interruption is generated at the main processing part 1 a little before the end time point of that transmission, the next transmitting instruction is transmitted from the main processing part 1 and the next packet transmission is prepared before the transmission end of previously transmitted packets so that the dead time can be shortened.</p> |
