PURPOSE:To satisfactorily destaticize over a long period without increasing the cost of a recorder and without making the reader large in size. CONSTITUTION:A dielectric 11 is put between a 1st member 22 constituted of semiconductive material and a 2nd member 23 constituted of either of conductive material and the semiconductive material in an elastic state from both sides so as to come into contact with each other, and an AC voltage is impressed between the 1st and 2nd members 22 and 23. Since the volume resistivity of the 1st member 22 does not increase too much, the dielectric 11 can be destaticized, and also, since the volume resistivity of the 2nd member 23 does not increase too much, the dielectric 11 can be destaticized. The volume resistivity of the 2nd member 23 does not become too small, so that the occurrence of minute unevenness in destaticization is prevented, and also, the occurrence of fogging on a non-image part and the occurrence of chipping on the image part are prevented. |
