The clock includes a digital display (1), to indicate the time, and push-buttons (2,3) for setting the time and the alarm. A third button (4) is provided for stopping the alarm. A photodetector (5) detects the light level in the room. The photodetector is connected to a memory unit (6) and a microprocessor. The microprocessor is controlled by an algorithm which calculates the number of sleep cycles function of the information stored in the memory unit. A wake-up time, which is closest to the alarm setting, is then calculated. |
