<p>The invention essentially deals with the forging of steel magnet wheels (1). In order to manufacture magnet wheels, a mould (9) is used that consists of two dies (10, 11) and may be inserted into a press. Both dies (10, 11) can be closed before moulding begins so that no gaps remain that could cause the formation of burrs. When the mould is closed, the inner contour of the dies (10, 11) corresponds exactly to the final form of the magnet wheel (1). A central moulding plug (14) with a slightly smaller diameter than the root diameter (7) of the magnet wheel is axially guided in the first die (10).</p> |
