Double-screwed spindle pump assembly has additional mixing zone

An assembly within a double-screwed spindle pump influences the structure within food ingredients during the mixing and preparation processes. The geometry of double screwed spindle shaft, attached to a helical conveyor determines the process outcome. The novelty is that after the induction zone (zone C) and the portioning zone (zone B), the assembly incorporates a supplementary processing zone and/or a mixing zone (zone A). The following aspects of the design are chosen in accordance with final process objective: (a) the length of zone A; (b) the shaft diameter; (c) the shaft geometry; (f) the flanks and flank surfaces; (g) that inlets deliver ingredients and mixtures from outside as required.
