METHOD OF USING A STEAM TURBINE FACILITY AND A STEAM TURBINE FACILITY FOR IMPLEMENTING SAID METHOD

The invention relates to thermal power engineering and can be used in steam turbine facilities with intermediate superheating of the steam and in such facilities without superheating which are rebuilt in order to introduce supplementary intermediate superheating. The proposed steam turbine facility contains the following elements: a boiler (1); a turbine comprising high, medium and low pressure cylinders (2, 3 and 4 respectively); an intermediate steam superheater (5) connected to the turbine by steam pipes (6, 7); a bypass line (8) of the steam superheater (5) with a valve (9); an electrical generator (10); a steam condenser (11); water pumps (12); a water supply regenerative heating system (13) connected to the boiler (1) by the pipeline (14); a mixer unit (15) mounted on the steam pipe (7) between the turbine's low-pressure cylinder (4) and the bypass line (8); and a valve (16) on the steam pipe (6) between the bypass line (8) and the steam superheater (5). The essence of the invention lies in the fact that in the nominal operating mode and other steady-state modes, the cold steam leaving the high-pressure cylinder (2) or medium-pressure cylinder (3) is split into two streams which are routed by valves (9, 16); one stream amounting to between 90 and 50 % of the total quantity leaving the turbine is fed into the bypass line (8), while the other stream amounting to between 10 and 50 % of the total is fed into the intermediate steam superheater (5) in which the steam is heated to between 650 and 850 DEG C at a pressure not exceeding 0.1-1 Mpa. The streams of superheated and bypass cold steam are made to merge to form a single stream and mixed in the mixer unit (15), before being fed into the turbine. The invention enhances the cost effectiveness and reliability of a given steam turbine facility by reducing to zero the steam moisture once the expansion process in the turbine is complete.
