A spray dispenser comprises a handle part 18, a spray mouth part 12, and a resilient part 28, the handle part and the mouth part being joined together at 26 for relative pivotal movement and each having an axial duct, the two ducts being normally held out of alignment by the resilient part but being aligned when the handle is pressed towards the mouth part. The complementary faces 24, 22 of the handle and mouth parts have matching curvatures and the face 24 preferably carries a seal, (30 figure 2). The resilient means may be a flexible tongue, or a strip 16 joining the mouth part to the handle part may be in the form of a spring. The handle and mouth parts may be formed integrally by a single or double hinge (figure 5) or joined by a pivot pin. The handle part may include stubs which engage in grooves of the mouth part having a camming effect, (Figures 4 and 5). The dispenser may be attached to a portable fire extinguisher. <IMAGE>
