<p>Disclosed are methods of reducing the blood pressure, stimulating vasodilation, and depleting complement, in a primate. These methods involve administering an oligonucleotide to the primate, and then measuring the decrease in blood pressure or complement activity. The oligonucleotide being administered is 2 to 50 nucleotides in length and has at least one phosphorothioate internucleotide linkage.</p> |
