Flow rate sensor for coolant or lubricant circulation system

The flow rate sensor includes a membrane disc (2), a lever (4) arrangement with its centre of rotation in the plane of the disc and a flow pressure acquiring part. A hermetically sealed cavity is formed by a housing (1) and the membrane disc. The cavity is filled with fluid (22), and contains a lever spring (6) and adjustment mechanism. The lever supports a blocking body (5), where the lever is attached to the fluid medium side of the membrane, and the spring to the other side of the membrane disc. An electrical signal is generated by contacts (7,14) opening when the flow rate in a pipe (27) exceeds a predetermined level.
