<p>The male element of the connector is based on a square flange (4) with an externally threaded collar (5) and sealing ring on one side, and pins (2) protruding from the other side for insertion into an opening (7) in the female element (6). Beyond the opening a small printed circuit board (8) with projecting teeth or solder tags (10) is slid into opposite and parallel grooves (9) until an array of plated through holes (20) is correctly positioned opposite the pins.
