A flush toilet stool comprises a bowl portion (2) in the form of a bowl for storing flush water, a rim water flow passage (1) provided at the top peripheral edge of the bowl portion, a substantially inverted U-shaped trap drainage passage (3) formed to communicate to the bottom portion of the bowl portion and provided midway thereof with a weir portion (37), and a water supply portion (5, 6) provided rearwardly of the bowl portion for supplying flush water to the bowl portion and the rim water flow passage. Formed in the trap drainage passage (3) is a flush water separating portion (4), of which an inner side wall surface is suddenly changed in configuration from the weir portion (37) to a fall passage (37) of the trap drainage passage. Further, provided between the water supply portion (5, 6) and the rim water flow passage (1) is a flow resistance means (63), which delays flush water in reaching the rim water flow passage (1).
