Fine=grain friable material preparation process

The plant (1-9) is used for prepn. of friable material. The process involves adding low-temp. coarse-gain material to the fine-grain friable material to cool it. The two forms of friable material are mixed until their temp. has evened out. They are then separated from each other. The coarse-grain friable material, which is now warmer, can be used to warm another material, in particular to preheat the fine-grain friable material and thus pre-dry it. The combined cooling and heating process has the effect of drying the fine-grain friable material.
