The hydraulically or pneumatically operated piston and/or membrane pump has an internally located rod, on which a work unit and two conveyor units are fixed. The pump has two inlet control valves (7, 14), two outlet control valves (23, 265), two permanent magnets (9, 24) fixed on a rocker (25) of which one is allocated to the inlet control valves and one to the outlet control valves, opening them alternately. Two spring connections (6, 15) are fitted between the conveyor units (3, 18) and the rocker (25). The work unit is formed by a work piston (1) fixed centrally on the rod (16) and fitted in a running bush (12).
