Variable oil pump for two stroke engines

The pump has a housing (1) having a rotating distributor element (7) in which is a cylinder bore (6) with a fixed piston (5). The distributor has a toothed area (9) which meshes with a worm wheel driven by a shaft (18). At the base of the distributor is a plate (11) which rests on a cam surface (73) cut into the surface of a spindle (14). The shift (18) is driven by a link with the motor cam shaft and therefore the distributor's speed is related to the motor revolution speed. The cam spindle is limited by a lever to the throttle control as this turns it adjusts the height of the distributor element and hence the cylinder bore volume.
