Variable force balancing system

The balancing system has the auxiliary shaft (13) rotating at a higher speed than the crankshaft (8). The auxiliary shaft is equipped with a symmetrical balancing weight (17), in the form of the engine flywheel, between its drive and clutch (22), which is mounted on a projecting end of the auxiliary shaft. The auxiliary shaft drives a gearbox input shaft (23), with which it is coaxially aligned, and carries a toothed gear (14) which meshes with a driving gear (7) on a crankshaft web. The other end of the auxiliary shaft projects through the opposite face of the engine crankcase and carries a driving pulley (20).
