The present invention relates to a device for maintaining in position at least a first (11) and a second (12) support plate with respect to each other. Said support plates are adapted to be housed in a case and support a plurality of electronic components (15). The device according to the invention comprises, distributed between each support plate, at least one pair of fixing tongues (20) having a predetermined length (L, l) and provided with a fixing element (23), and at least one pair of fixing means (21) adapted to cooperate with the fixing elements (23). Each fixing means has a fixing axis (A, B) which is offset with respect to that of the other fixing means. Conveniently, a flexible positioning of the support plates with respect to each other is obtained. The present invention is more particularly intended to electronic cases in the car industry.
