The coupling network comprises several coaxial line tree-type networks (CN) common to subscriber side terminals (NT/A). The tree-type networks are linked by optical fibres (OB) to connectors (CU/A). Each coaxial line tree-type network is coupled via a converter (OCC) to an optical fibre tree-type network with an optical branch tap (V). The optical fibre tree-type network is both for bidirectional telecommunication services and for unidirectional distribution telecommunication services. Pref. the bidirectional telecommunication is carried out by a wavelength separating position operation.
