The measurement component (4) determines the position of the ring (3) symmetrically placed on the measurement cone (1) in relation to the reference surface (2). A programmable computer (5) measures the distance between the position and the reference surface. The measurement component at its one end is formed with an outwardly diverging recess, shaped so that from the side it can be located against the ring to be measured. The recess is symmetrical around a plane, which is held parallel to the measured ring. The computer indiates directly, pref. on a display (11), the measured ring inner dia., having regard for the dims. of the measurement cone used. The measurement component is so fixed in a measurement slide, that it is movable in a horizontal direction, for adjustment to O-rings with different dims. A vertical column (6) functions as guide for the measurement slide, which supports the measurement component and an instrument part (8). |
