An ultrasound appts (10) includes a transducer (14), which delivers the therapy beam, and a patient position monitoring transducer (16). The monitoring transducer is connected to a type A electronic circuit. The two transducers are manufactured on the same piezoelectric substrate by dividing the metallic layer which is deposited on it. The appts is provided with a probe (18) actuated by a motor (20) and controlled by a module (22). The control module generates signals (24) which command the two transducers through a movement detector (28).
