A output shaft (62) is a hollow shaft and passes through a gearbox (64). Holes for mounting (65a - 65b) also pass through the gearbox (64). The holes (65a - 65d) are located at the vertexes of a square. And the output shaft (62), which is displaced (offset) relative to the square's center, is located on one diagonal of the square. This structure provides a variety of possibilities of assembling the gear device with big motor, and the amount of projection of the faces (64a, 64b) of the gearbox (64) from the output shaft can be kept as small as possible.
