A body fluid absorbent article comprising a topsheet (4) formed with tubular liquid passages (5) extending from the bottom surface of the topsheet and an absorbent core (1), wherein a meshy sheet (3) comprising fibres (6) defining meshes smaller than lower openings of the respective liquid passages is interposed between said topsheet and said absorbent core so that said fibres extend across the lower openings.
