<p>The invention relates to an apparatus for composting putrifiable waste spread in layers on an elongate area 1, in which the putrifiable waste applied to the feed end 2 of the composting area is picked up by a pick-up device 10 movable longitudinally over the composting area and is transferred in the direction of the discharge end 3 of the composting area, located opposite the feed end 2 of the composting area, via conveyor devices 9, 11, 7, an ejector device 12 and a dumper 8 movable longitudinally over the composting area independently of the pick-up device 10. According to the invention, the pick-up device 10 and the dumper 8 are arranged movably on two bridges 6, 5 which span the composting area transversely and which are movable longitudinally over the composting area on rails independently of one another. The composting area is subdivided into sections a, b, c and has parking positions x, y for the bridges 5, 6. The putrifiable waste enters the apparatus by way of the feed funnel 13. <IMAGE></p> |
