Material comprising an implant stem (1) for insertion into a substantially vertical cavity drilled in the maxillary bone. The invention is characterized in that the implant stem (1) includes at least one bore (6, 7) substantially transverse to its axis (1b); and in that it also comprises a cylindrical key with a cross section corresponding to that of the bore (6, 7) of the implant stem (1). Said key (8) is to be inserted into the maxillary bone in which the implant stem is previously positioned, and placed in the bore of said implant.
