The cutlery has the utensil (2) fixed to a curved handle (4) by its tang (6). The utensil and the handle have the same plane of symmetry. The handle has a central part (8) to which two side plates (10, 12) are fixed. The top of the handle has reinforcing pieces (34) fixed to it. The front of the handle has a slot (16), across its central part and sides, in which the tang and end (18) of the utensil are fixed. The slot is orthogonal to the plane of symmetry of the handle.
