Laser sight aligner for hand weapons

The sighting device has a body (2) with a rod (1) attached to it by a nut (8). The rod has side mounted spring fingers (18) producing a tight fit in the gun barrel (9). A battery is housed inside the body, and there is a forward mounted laser diode radiating light in the visible spectrum. The laser diode is mounted on a rotating section, allowing 2 degrees of freedom, with coarse adjustment provided by four screws. A switch (21) is attached to the gun trigger with clip (22) and protector (23) with connecting wires to the main body allowing the laser diode to be switched in when the trigger is fixed.
