The anti-burglary device has a telescopic closure rod (8) which extends from the periphery of an opening to a sliding panel. It has one inner telescopic part (10) with an integral lock (16) towards one end and an outer fixed part (9) with an end fixing point (13) which is attached to an eye (13) on the perimeter of the opening. The two parts are linked by a spring (18) which butts to each part (14, 17) allowing a relative linear displacement when a threshold force is exceeded. A lock on the panel engages with the lock on the bar to ensure closure. An electric switch (23-25), comprising poles on each part, changes from an open to a closed state when the displacement occurs, setting off an alarm for a certain time.
