<p>Tape (10) which consists of a plastic film which has a warning colour, has a relatively high tearing resistance, can be laid in the ground above and at a distance from underground lines for electricity, gas, water or the like and provides warning of the lines below it, especially during mechanical earth-moving operations, the web of plastic film, which forms the tape (10) and has a relatively high tearing resistance, being prepared with perforated tearing lines (11, 12) at predetermined longitudinal intervals to permit tearing in a predetermined manner if it is lifted out of the ground, each tearing line (11, 12) extending obliquely at a relatively small angle to the longitudinal direction of the tape. <IMAGE></p> |
