The boiler system comprises a waste heat flue (2,4) which is formed parallel to the pipe flues (5-7) arranged one behind the other. The waste heat flue is joined directly to the waste gas current (8) arising from the burner (13). A throttle flap (26) is placed between the burner and the waste gas current. A further throttle flap (27) is provided for the waste gas flue.
