Motor regulator for optical or magnetic disc player

The appts. possesses a reproduction unit for reading information from the disc and a motor (10) with moving and stationary sections, the latter for shifting the reproduction unit along the surface of a disc. A unit (16) measures the acceleration of the reproduction unit and the moving section of the motor w.r.t. the stationary section. Another unit (17) produces a compensation signal for correcting the driving current of the motor.
