Dip-coating process for foundry sand cores with subsequent removal for drying, wherein several, pref. two cores, having a compressive strength of at least 0.1 MPa, are conveyed singly at intervals to corresponding receiver stations by a sensor controlled conveyor track, are positioned there, clamped and dipped in a defined sequence, such that the cores held by differential pressure switch controlled cylinders are rotated by 180 deg , dipped in a dip tank for a short duration, shake drained in a 45 deg position, returned, released and conveyed to an exit station for drying. Process equipment is also claimed.
