This machine is intended to distribute the rings automatically in the groove 9 of an engine piston 8, these rings consisting of scraping rails separated by elastic spacers 2. The pile 5 of the spacers 2 is slipped over a magazine-tube 4 serving as seat for the piston 8 and having, at its upper edge close to the groove 9, a chamfer 7.
