The air pulsed jigging machine, for processing mixts. of solids e.g. coal, or other minerals, has a double plate valve with a central guide rod (12). The valve plates (13,14) are displaced from each other so that, on an axial movement of the guide rod (12), one valve plate (13) periodically opens and closes the pulsed feed line (15) externally and the other valve plate (14) acts similarly internally.
