Perforated Faraday cage incorporates permanent magnetic filter

A magnetic filter system removes magnetic residues from a liquid. The novelty is that the filter consists of a permanent magnet (2) held within a freely moving perforated (4) hollow body (3) made of ferromagnetic material, and that fluid bearing the magnetic residues reach the permanent magnet (2) via the apertures (4). The perforated hollow body (3) is made of a soft-magnetic material such as steel. The permanent magnet (2) is suspended by non-magnetic fixtures within the hollow body (3).
