A device uses two stripper jaws (1) covered with absorbent material, such as glass fibre fabric. They are positioned adjustably opposite each other by spindles (4) and surrounded by a heating sleeve (3). The location of the jaws is adjusted directly using the spindles or indirectly using the sleeve. The sleeve is hinged.
