Ground=water oil slick removal system

The system uses a well string which contains a first riser (4) and water drain line (2) and a pipe (28) which is divided into a second riser (25) and drain line (1) as joined by a nonreturn valve (3). A rubber belt (17) and a wiper plough (18) are allocated as removal device to the second riser plus a geared electric motor (19) joined operably to a mineral oil feed-pipe (20). A reservoir (7) with level switches (8,9) is fitted between the second riser and drain-line (1). The first riser is served by a submersible pump (5) and the second riser is allotted a distance switch (21). Programming is by integrated memory circuits. In the well string, switch (13) signals groundwater contact, using the pump to force groundwater into the reservoir via the risers with the nonreturn valve open. As switch (8) is contacted by the water, the pump stops and the nonreturn valve closes so valve (12) now opens to vent reservoir air. A skimmer belt (17) rotates to skim off the oil which is then ploughed off to the oil feed (20). When switch (9) contacts oil, valves switch over so water is pumped into the reservoir to expel the oil etc.
