The spheric signal analyser has an antenna (1), a receiver (2) with an amplifier and a filter, an A/D converter (3) and a memory (4) followed by a fuzzy logic processing unit (5). This evaluates general characteristics of the received signal, such as pulse attack rate, initial amplitude, number of oscillations, frequency spread, amplitude spread and/or the decay of oscillations or signals as well as the impulse sequence frequencies or the frequency distribution of the occurring frequencies. For each criterium a dedicated fuzzy logic block is used. The fuzzy logic unit also contains a defuzzification part. A video unit (6) driving a display (7) for visual representation of the measured quantities.
