Polymerisation of unsatd. monomers (pref. butadiene) to yield linear or branched terminally functionalised polymers at 15-60[deg]C uses Li initiators of formula (I) A" = cyclohexyl or -CR1R"-; R1 = 1-10C linear alkyl; and R" = H or 1-10C linear alkyl. The polymers produced by the process are also claimed. |
